Bengal Educational College organised the “Safe Drive Save Life” Awareness Programme on the occasion of Independence Day 2026 with active participation from students, teachers and staff members. The programme aimed to create awareness about road safety, responsible driving, observance of traffic rules and the importance of protecting human life on the road.
As part of the programme, an awareness rally was organised in and around the locality of the college. Participants carried road-safety messages and interacted with the community to promote responsible behaviour on the road. The programme emphasised the importance of following traffic rules, wearing helmets and seat belts, avoiding unsafe driving practices and developing a collective sense of responsibility towards road safety.
Through this initiative, Bengal Educational College sought to encourage its students to become responsible citizens and active contributors to public awareness. The programme conveyed the message that safe and responsible driving is essential for protecting every life.
